At the Spring 2018 Marketing Expo, we had women in business talk about how marketers can keep a long-term career in such a fast changing field. We specifically talked about the challenges women face in the business world.

In this panel, we had three very talented women who were each at different stages of their career. Our first speaker, Elisa Steele,  has reached a high point of her career. She is the former CEO and President of JIVE software. Our next speaker was Alice Katwan who is SVP of sales at Genesys software. She is in the middle of her career growth. Lastly, we have Anadelia Fadeev who is just a few years into her career working as a Senior Marketing Manager at InfluxData.

These women talked about how to grow and remain relevant in a marketplace that is constantly changing. During the panel, they focused specifically on women’s challenges in the workforce and how to carry on a long-term career.

Elisa Steele is a skilled leader that knows how to run a company to achieve its goal. According to her coworker, Steele is eager in her desire to innovate. She also understands the value of strategic marketing to drive positive business results. Steele constantly promotes a creativity, innovative spirit, and high energy environment.

Alice Katwan has been honored with the Silicon Valley Woman of Influence award. Katwan holds a strong belief about promoting women’s leadership by having talks about how women can succeed in traditionally male-dominated areas. She is a creative, problem solver who always pushes her team to reach their sales goals.

Anadelia Fadeev graduated from San Francisco State University and received her B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. She is a “one-woman powerhouse”. Fadeev approaches and implements strategies to reach her business goals on an everyday basis. Not only is Fadeev flexible, she’s confident in adapting to different roles and taking on any responsibilities.
